Well, I guess our “big” news can’t wait too much longer. It looks like this fall is going to bring a little more than we had originally planned… In addition to deciding on a career specialty, residency program and selecting the city where Dave and I are going to live, we will have a new addition to our little family.
After 4 weeks of nausea, decreased energy and three confirmed tests, we found out a few weeks ago that we are most definitely PREGNANT. I almost fell out of my chair too! and we are expecting a little one around the 10th of September. Here is a picture for our first SONO.
Needless to say, this is going to take some serious planning, since I will only have a few weeks of vacation before I have to return to school after our little bundle of joy arrives. But I am sure we will make it work. Residency is not going to be any better than 4th year in terms of long hours and over-night call, so we both feel that this is as good a time as any to start our family.
So there’s the news…shocking isn’t it?
